Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
ARGH! I do really well, then I'll have a day like yesterday that just throws everything off. I started off fine. I had coffee and a banana for breakfast, tuna salad sandwich for lunch (made with light salad dressing and loaded with grapes, celery and pecans) and turkey hotdogs on whole grain buns with baked red potatoes for dinner. Ok, so the hotdogs weren't great, but they were turkey dogs and had about half the fat/calories of regular hotdogs.
Anyway, Stupid Part 1 was after dinner. I had a meeting with a potential client at a local coffee shop. Instead of going with a bottled water or espresso (black), I decided to splurge a little since I was using their location as a meeting spot. I went with the Light Mocha Berry. The "light" was referring only to the color of mocha. But hey, they used skim milk! Wee. Having spent four freaking dollars on the thing, I had to drink it. Did I mention it had skim milk??
Stupid Part 2, 3 and 4 was when I got home. I had three freaking cupcakes. I know. Why the heck do I have cupcakes in the house? Because I love to bake! Ok, go ahead. Rip into me. I deserve it. Anyway, I lost all self-control. Ugh. I'm so disgusted with myself.
As stupid as yesterday was, four good things came out of it:
1. I didn't eat after 9. That's good, right?
2. There are no longer any cupcakes in the house.
3. I weighed as much this morning (after a bowl of cereal) as I did yesterday morning: 188.8.
4. I landed the design gig.

Sorry about your day but congrats on #4. Sometimes it's hard but you have no control over yesterday so don't worry about it. Focus on today and make it the best you can.
