Chinese Blunder
So we were out shopping and passed one of our favorite Chinese buffets. We had some cash on us, we didn't feel like making dinner, and we had eaten pretty good up to that point. So we went to the buffet. We went in with every intention of being good...sticking to the fruit and sushi bars and maybe grabbing a spoonful of Sesame Chicken. Problem is, when you walk into those places and spend the money on a buffet, you can't justify only eating fruit and sushi. So we did the thing we always do: ate like pigs and regretted it afterwards.

That whole scenario above? That's what we used to do. This week, however, was perfect. Even the weekend! I stuck to clean eating, stayed on track with exercise - even when I didn't feel like it - and stayed active otherwise. Today's weigh-in of 185.6 was a good reflection of my hard work. That's what's funny, though. It's not even hard work. It's tough in the heat of the decision of whether or not to eat that extra helping of food just because it tastes good. It can be a challenge to ignore the late-night sugar cravings. But looking back, it was easy. I made freaking awesome decisions last week and I feel so incredibly good about them!

Now on to this week. It's the same drill. Instead of suicides, though, I'm going to do sprints outside since Kevin's home to watch the girls. I'm going to look like a total moron, but eh, who cares?

I'll post more later on my workout.

*** EDIT ***

Workout: Suicides
Total Sets: 10
Reps Per Set: 5 To's and Back's
Time: 36s-38s/set

Notes: I was going to run sprints outside, but I felt like I was going to pass out after lunch. I figured it would be better to pass out in the privacy of my basement than on some random road.

You bet, Rip. I missed my scheduled workout yesterday because I had to catch up on a ton of projects (an up till 3 this am working on them). However, we were still active. I'm going to combine strength and cardio today. More later...
