Just a few quick things today:

1. New rule: no eating after 9pm. Succeeded last night and again tonight. I can do this.

2. I keep looking at my progression from fat to not-as-fat last year and every time, I get that tingling in the bottom of my stomach that makes me want to go out and do sprints. Now, I just have to get out and do those sprints...

3. I FINALLY did all my weight exercises (yesterday). 50 pushups, 100 situps, 50 lunges, 50 triceps extensions and 100 squats. I'm sore today, but not bad. Makes me think I can push myself a little harder.

4. I weighed in this morning at 187.6. I know it's not impressive, but after a 191+ weigh-in a couple days ago, I'll take it.

5. I feel like I'm getting back on track. Finally. It's weird, too. It's like, when I get my weight stuff on track, everything else seems to get on track. Good times.

sounds like things are going well for you beck. I like your no eating after 9 rule. I try to stick to no eating 3 hours before bed so the time varies but same concept.

I try not to eat late either. My old habit was dinner when I got home from work which could be as late as 9pm. Now I eat all day long and try to make my largest meal lunch.

I am thinking about incorporating a casein shake or cottage cheese 'meal' before bedtime which is supposed to keep you full and help protect your muscle while you sleep.

Sounds like you're working hard. Keep it up!

I'm telling ya, that not eating late at night bit is SO TRUE. It's always bad news if I eat anywhere after three hours before I sleep (which most nights, ends up being 10:00 or so, depending on how late I work.)

When I grub late at night, 3 out of 4 times I'll see it in the morning's weigh-in.
